In the coming weeks, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation said the archery range will have a new 24-foot-by-36-foot pavilion. The pavilion will provide shelter for range users and serve as a venue for archery and bowhunting education classes or other events.
The project is expected to be completed around July 15. It is part of the DEC’s Division of Fish and Wildlife’s $3.1 million five-year federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration grant investment to develop up to 14 archery ranges around the state.
