SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A boy is reportedly missing out of Scotia, according to the Village of Scotia Police Department. 14-year-old Jahvon Hansen was last seen on June 21.

He is described as a Black boy with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs approximately 120 pounds and is about 5 feet 8 inches tall. Hansen was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.
Chief Adam Halbfinger said he was last seen around 8 p.m. on Sunday in the area of Ballston Road and Dutch Meadow Lane. Information that developed during the investigation indicates that Hansen left his house voluntarily, Halbfinger said.

The boy is believed to be in the area but his current whereabouts are unknown. At this time, there is no information suggesting foul play, Halbfinger said.
