Backers reveal plans for bus terminal at Empire State Plaza

ALBANY — A city official and an Albany public relations executive are leading an effort to develop a bus station inside Empire State Plaza.

Chief City Auditor Sam Fein and Joe Bonilla, co-founder of the PR firm Relentless Awareness, said Monday they are behind a website that surfaced over the Juneteenth holiday weekend proposing that intercity buses be moved to an underground deck at the Empire State Plaza Concourse.
