COLONIE — When husband-wife duo Kristian Rrena and Krisanthi Marra moved to the Capital Region from Albania in 2017, they struggled to find the products they grew fond of while in the Balkans. They’d often travel hours to Connecticut and New York City to shop for food at Balkan markets until they decided to open one of their own in Colonie.
“We miss products sometimes,” Rrena said. “I said to my wife, we needed something in this area, so we did it.”
