COEYMANS HOLLOW, N.Y. (NEWS10) — One person was airlifted to the hospital on Friday after they fell into a fire pit in Coeymans Hollow, according to the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation. The incident reportedly occurred at a home on Starr Road.

Crews were dispatched to the scene at about 9 p.m. Upon arrival, fire and EMS personnel found that the victim had significant burns to their right arm, torso and face, authorities said.
After assessing the injuries, a landing zone was reportedly established at Joralemon Park. Fire officials said the victim was taken to the landing zone by the Ravena Rescue Squad before being transferred to a LifeNet helicopter and transported to a regional burn center.
