BETHLEHEM — A distributor of smart home and home security technology will be closing its facility in Feura Bush, according to a state notice.
Resideo Technologies, a spin-off of Honeywell, will be laying off 55 workers due to the closure, according to the notice filed Wednesday under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. The notice says the facility — doing business as ADI Global — will be relocating from 1217 West Yard Road.
A Resideo spokesperson has not yet returned an email inquiring about the move, but the Scottsdale, Ariz., company has touted separating its ADI Global brand — a wholesale distributor of security, audio-visual and smart home technology — into a standalone company in both its last quarterly report and an investor day presentation.
