TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The circus is coming to town! Circus in the Park is returning to Troy for the seventh year. The three-day event will take place from August 22-24 at Prospect Park.
Circus in the Park is presented by The Big Top Group and showcases live performances, flying trapeze, and a fundraiser to support its artistic and educational work.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday, August 22 with the Circus Soiree, a fundraiser honoring Elizabeth Streb, internationally recognized action architect and founder of STREB Extreme Action, and Ronnye Shamam, a longtime advocate for the arts, civic engagement, and cultural life in the Capital Region.
The outdoor event will feature food and drinks and live performances from The Flying Harts, Paris the Hip Hop Juggler, The Rubin Brothers, magician Alan Edstrom, and other regional artists.
