SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A Schenectady coffee shop has a new owner after a longtime employee took over the business from its founders.
Julia Brisbane, a former educator of 19 years, is the new owner of Storied Coffee at 123 Jay Street. She first went to the shop as a customer a few years ago and later got a job there.
Brisbane managed the business for the last two years before taking over from founders Rich and Christine Sarnacki, who started the shop in 2018. She said the shop’s community is what made it stand out to her…
