HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A woman has been arrested following an extensive investigation into the armed robbery of the Speedway located at 1513 Crescent Road in Halfmoon. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 44-year-old Trisha Lee Cayea-Lord.

Cayea-Lord was charged with the following:
- Second-degree robbery
- Tampering with physical evidence
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Endangering the welfare of a child
She is accused of entering the Speedway on May 7, at about 2:14 a.m., while wearing a mask to conceal her identity. Cayea-Lord is also accused of displaying what appeared to be a pistol and demanding money from the register before stealing about $400.
Cayea-Lord then fled the Speedway and entered a waiting vehicle. Her 5-year-old child was inside the vehicle at the time of the robbery.
She was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail on $100,000 cash bail $200,000 secure bond and $1,000,000 partially secure bond.
