Farm surprised to find Flock camera after two years

KINDERHOOK, N.Y. (WRGB) — A Flock camera just so happened to be put on the wrong side of the driveway between the Niverville Fire Department and Golden Harvest Farms. What CBS6’s Anthony Krolikowski learned is that the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office never checked in with the farm until now and this is not the only Flock camera in town.

An employee found out about the Flock camera through social media on Wednesday and shared it with her manager, David Grout. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office met with him at noon on Thursday at the farm itself. “What they said was that the county believed that the camera was put on the property of the fire department and the fire department is located just to the north of our property. It appears that the camera is actually on our property,” clarified Grout.

Krolikowski spoke with Sheriff Jacqueline Salvatore before she left. The sheriff did not want to go on camera but said she would send a statement…
