GUILDERLAND — An apartment building was evacuated and two people suffered minor injuries when a fire broke out Thursday in one of the apartments, police said.
Crews were called just after 8 a.m. to Brandywine Apartments, a complex located off State Farm Road and Route 20, Guilderland police Investigator Kristopher Scarano said. The fire started at Apartment 408, but the entire building was evacuated.
The fire was contained by about 8:20 a.m. Two people were evaluated for injuries, but it was not clear if they were hospitalized, Scarano said. Firefighters and investigators were still at the apartment Thursday afternoon, and the cause remains under investigation…
