QuickChek approved in Colonie
A new QuickChek location has been approved on Central Avenue in Colonie.
Earlier this month, the Village of Colonie Planning Commission approved the site plan and special use permit for the location. A special use permit and variance from the zoning board were required because of the proposed QuickChek’s proximity to a Mobil gas station across the street.
The location of the development is 1850 Central Ave. in Colonie, which is currently a Walgreens pharmacy. The existing building would be demolished and the property redeveloped for the gas station…
