The restaurant was orginally supposed to close Saturday night, but, according to another post on the Facebook page, the Keg cooler died, meaning they could not open for the last two days.
According to the Power’s Inn & Pub website, the structure in which the restaurant sits was originally built in 1786. Randy and Peggy Gifford first opened Power’s in October 2011.
The Barn at Power’s will remain open for events and catering, said the post. The venue is booking events through 2027.
