I have been a Guilderland resident for 50 years. I moved to Guilderland as a young adult and that is where I raised my three children.
As a family we have taken great joy in Tawasentha Park and Fred B. Abele (also known as Strawberry Lane) Park in McKownville. I would like to congratulate the town on the recent improvements to Strawberry Lane, specifically, the new restrooms.
As a senior resident of the town, I appreciate that I can swim in the Tawasentha Park Pool for free. I live at the eastern end of town, the population center, near Fuller Road and I rely on my bicycle for transportation so getting out to Tawasentha Park for a swim can sometimes be a challenge…
