FRANKFORT, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Five people — four from Syracuse, one from Albany — have been arrested after a traffic stop by New York State Police in Frankfort.
State Police stopped the vehicle on State Route 5S in Frankfort at approximately 6:32 pm on Monday, September 14. Police say the vehicle was stopped for vehicle and traffic law violations. During the stop, police found that the driver had a suspended driver’s license. The following people were said to be in the car during the stop:
- 29-year-old Dessereah Casey,
- 25-year-old Jynelle Coker,
- 24-year-old Izayiah Haynes,
- 21-year-old Emily Phillips, and
- 36-year-old Jamie Fox.
All but Fox are of Syracuse; Fox is of Albany.
A subsequent search of the vehicle found that the occupants were in possession of several drugs, including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, LSD, and psylocybin — also known as the active ingredient in “magic mushrooms”.
