A 26-year-old man was found shot dead in an Albany alleyway after gunfire was reported at a nearby home, police said.
Officers responded to a residence on Elberon Place near Quail Street around 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, on reports of shots fired, Albany Police said. Police searched the residence but found no victims.
