Police in Hoosick Falls are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on multiple charges following an alleged incident involving reckless driving and fleeing from law enforcement.
According to the Hoosick Falls Police Department, 43-year-old David S. McGowan is currently wanted for unlawful fleeing a police officer, reckless driving, and several vehicle and traffic law violations.
Animal Cruelty Charge
Authorities also say he is facing a charge related to an animal being “carried in a cruel manner,” which refers to a specific type of legal infraction where the method of transporting a living creature causes unnecessary suffering, pain, or injury.
In legal terms, it means transporting an animal in a “cruel or inhuman manner, or so as to produce torture”.
