A local mother is asking for answers after police said an improperly disposed firework caused the blast that badly hurt two children.
NewsChannel 13 spoke with Diahann Adepegba, the mother of 6-year-old Jaden and aunt of 9-year-old Alana, about the explosion at a home near O’Neil Street last August. Troy police said they have finished their investigation and said the explosion was caused by an improperly disposed firework, but they could not determine how it got into the driveway and no one has been charged.
