Greenville man killed in crash, sheriff says

Albany, NY (WRGB) — A 59-year-old Greenville man was killed in a single-car crash Monday morning in the Town of New Scotland, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr. said deputies responded at about 6:26 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, to the area of Clarksville South Road and Dunbar Hollow Road for a reported crash.

Investigators determined a 2015 Kia Soul driven by 59-year-old Frank Chappell of Greenville was traveling northbound on Clarksville South Road with a 21-year-old female passenger when it left the roadway, hit multiple trees and came to rest in a wooded area…
