ALBANY, N.Y (WNYT) – Downtown Albany is launching an exciting new celebration called 518 Day on Saturday, May 16, packed with family-friendly fun that honors the Capital Region’s unique spirit.
The day kicks off with the inaugural 5.18K road race and Kids 1K, then continues with a vibrant vendor village featuring regional goods, a lively music showcase by Metroland Now, and the first-ever Melba Madness stroll, where local restaurants serve creative bites with the region’s signature Melba sauce.
