ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A grocery store in downtown Albuquerque is looking for new owners. The Silver Street Market is for sale and some in the community are concerned about what this means for those who depend on it. The owners hope someone will keep it going as a grocery store.
“The goal is to find another operator that’s qualified and capable of having as good of a market or better than the one that exists today,” said Qualifying Broker and Principal with Geltmore David Silverman.
It’s been 10 years since the Silver Street Market opened in Downtown Albuquerque as the only grocery store in the area, filling a need for those who live nearby. Now it’s for sale as the market’s lease expires…
