NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Community members from across the state traveled to Petroglyph National Monument to support and appreciate Navajo weaving traditions.

The Hubbell Trading Post Rug Show visited Albuquerque Sunday to carry on tradition as one of the oldest operating trading posts in the country. Attendees could watch live weaving demonstrations, shop authentic Navajo rugs and jewelry and more. Organizers say the event is always free and is critical to preserving Navajo culture.
