BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County Animal Care Services will be hosting a series of free microchip events this week.
Microchipping can significantly improve the likelihood of reuniting lost pets with their families, Bernalillo County Animal Care Services said.

“Every year, we see an increase in lost pets around holiday celebrations,” said Misha Goodman, Animal Care Services Director. “A microchip can make all the difference in helping a pet find its way back home. We encourage residents to take advantage of these free events and ensure their pets have a permanent form of identification.”…
