[1] Bailey Zimmerman facing charges, accused of trashing Sandia Resort hotel room – Criminal charges have been filed against country musician Bailey Zimmerman, alleging that he destroyed a hotel room before cancelling a performance in Albuquerque on May 27. According to a criminal complaint, Zimmerman was seen on security cameras destroying instruments and equipment during a sound check at Sandia Resort and Casino. Sandia claims that his hotel room sustained more than $16,000 in damage, including a broken TV, missing furniture, a hole in the wall, and an additional $400 in unpaid alcohol charges. Zimmerman has been charged with criminal damage to property and falsely obtaining services.

[2] Santa Fe police identify suspect in mall shooting – Police have identified one of the suspects accused of a shooting at the Santa Fe Place Mall, which left one person injured over the weekend. Santa Fe police said that two suspects, one identified as 17-year-old Cesar Deras, and a male victim, got into a confrontation. Police said Deras and the other suspect fled on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
