[2] AFR responds to bosque fire, body discovered – A fire broke out in Albuquerque’s bosque Saturday. Albuquerque Fire Rescue say the fire near Tingley Dr. and Alcalde Pl SW grew to more than five acres before it was fully contained. While crews were working to contain the fire, AFR discovered a dead body. Officials say the body does not seem to be associated with the fire.
[3] Monsoon moisture spreads, heat remains – The start of the week will bring hot temperatures and increasing chances for afternoon thunderstorms across New Mexico. As monsoon moisture continues to move into the region, scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will develop, especially over the mountains and central and eastern portions of the state.
[4] Albuquerque Fire Marshals release report showing July 4th firework stats – Residents celebrating independence day kept AFR busy as a new report shows how many calls they got regarding fireworks.
