ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A new landmark is lighting up Albuquerque’s historic Mother Road. The Route 66 sign near Central Ave. and Tramway Blvd. will welcome visitors driving into the city and thank them for visiting on their way east out of town. The sign was funded through a $328,000 grant from the New Mexico Tourism Department.
