However, newly released video out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, shows how one fender-bender escalated into a terrifying physical altercation—and ultimately resulted in felony charges for an off-duty police officer.

In a recent broadcast, local news affiliate KRQE highlighted chaotic cell phone footage and witness testimony stemming from a crash that occurred earlier this year. What began as a minor accident quickly transformed into an abuse of power that cost a veteran officer his career.
