ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – In 2021, a Bernalillo County deputy arrives on the scene of a fatal accident on a dark rural South Valley road. Several witnesses interviewed on scene that evening report that two vehicles were racing over 80 MPH, well over the 55 MPH speed limit. One of the racers, a Ford F-150 driven by 22-year-old Manuel Soria, slams into a Hyundai sedan pulling out onto the highway. The driver of that small car, Father Graham Golden, and his passenger are severely wounded. Father Graham Golden died due to his injuries.
