ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police video showed the aftermath of a wrong-way, head-on crash on Albuquerque’s Westside in early July, caused by a suspected drunk driver. It wasn’t the first, but the sixth time the driver faced a DWI arrest.

Just before 10 p.m. on July 2, near Alameda and Corrales Road, police said a KIA, driving the wrong way, hit a truck head-on. Investigators said the driver was trying to leave the scene, but couldn’t move the KIA.
Police quickly suspected the KIA driver, Lawrence Luna, was intoxicated. Inside his car was an open beer. Luna originally told officers he didn’t have any drinks, but then changed his answer…
