ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Thursday is starting off cooler than previous mornings thanks to dry air aloft in part of New Mexico and little-to-no winds with clear skies.
Temperatures in the Four Corners dropped into the 40s and 50s this morning as a result. Morning lows fell into the 60s for most other areas around the state and 70s for our southern counties. Overall, it was a chillier morning, even for the Albuquerque metro.
That dry air will translate to lots of sunshine in store for central and northwestern New Mexico. Temperatures will warm up quickly into the 80s and 90s for lower elevations.
