ALBUQUERQUE — Rio Rancho residents who remember having an IHOP on Unser Boulevard where Denny’s is won’t have to drive across the river for their favorite pancakes anymore.
The highly anticipated opening of IHOP, now on Unser Boulevard near Crown Road — just across the Rio Rancho border in Albuquerque — had a slow start at 6 a.m. Thursday, according to General Manager Valerie Gallegos, a familiar face from IHOP’s former Unser location.
