ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – In this episode of New Mexico Crime Files, KRQE Anchors Dean Staley and Jessica Garate take a deep dive into the case of murderer Sean Lannon who left the dismembered bodies of four of his victims— his ex-wife Jennifer Lannon, along with Justin Mata, Matthew Miller, and Randall Apostalon— in a vehicle at the Albuquerque International Sunport in 2021. Though the murders occurred in Grants, N.M., he transferred the segmented bodies in storage bins and drove them to Albuquerque. Soon after his murders in New Mexico, Lannon killed a fifth person, Michael Dabkowski, in New Jersey. This week, Dean and Jessica define the term ‘serial killer’ and discuss the ways Lannon’s murders make this a distinctly disturbing case.
