ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – His criminal history includes everything from being charged with murder to being convicted of carrying a gun on school property when he was a teenager. But in 2024, he was spotted in a stolen car for weeks around southwest Albuquerque and led authorities on a chase before getting arrested. Most recently in federal court, he pleaded guilty to those charges and is now looking at serious time.
It was a Tuesday night in late January of 2024. A BCSO deputy spots a familiar red car – a stolen Dodge Challenger he’s chased twice that month, at one point traveling at more than 100 miles per hour. But both times, the driver got away.
This time, deputies are not taking any chances. They track the car with the help of air support and take out three of the tires with spike strips.
