WASHINGTON (7News) — A passenger was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the White House early Saturday, and the driver of one of the vehicles was arrested after fleeing the scene, according to the United States Park Police.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of 17th Street and Constitution Avenue NW, D.C., police said.
Authorities said the driver of the suspected vehicle fled on foot following the collision but was quickly apprehended by members of the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division. The suspect was then transferred to the custody of the U.S. Park Police…
