LORTON, Va. (DC News Now) — Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Lorton.
The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said that at around 3:30 p.m., officers were called to a three-vehicle crash near the Richmon Highway and Mims Street intersection.
Preliminarily, FCPD said a 2024 Ford F-650 towing a loaded trailer was trying to make a left turn from Richmond Highway into a business driveway when the trailer was hit by a 2023 BMW S1000 motorcycle.
