WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Firefighters were called to the dumpster on fire on Friday afternoon.
DC Fire and EMS responded to the 5100 block of C Street SE for reports of a dumpster on fire, where a large amount of smoke could be seen for a few miles away.

The fire was extinguished, and it did not spread anywhere, firefighters added.
