SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — A D.C. teen is being charged as an adult after being found in possession of a ghost gun and trying to run from police.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said on June 19, at around 9 p.m., officers were patrolling the Silgo Avenue and Fenton Street area when a resident flagged them down.
MCPD said the resident reported that a group of people went into a construction area within an apartment building in the 800 block of Sligo Avenue and that the group had been gambling in a stairwell.
