A restaurant specializing in Nashville’s favorite poultry is preparing to take a fresh Maryland market by storm. Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken is getting ready to open a new location in Oxon Hill, and it should be ready to greet guests later this year.
The fast-casual concept will be bringing the heat to a 6113B Oxon Hill Road storefront. Usman Ali, a managing member of franchisee HJ Oxon Hill LLC, generously made some time to fill What Now DC in on Hangry Joe’s upcoming location, explaining that the team chose Oxon Hill “because the shopping center is large, experiences high foot traffic, and currently does not have any hot chicken options.”
Hangry Joe’s will be serving up chicken at varying degrees of spiciness in a 3,000 square foot space, with seating for approximately 40 customers…
