WALDORF, Md. — A proposal to turn a single-family home in a Waldorf neighborhood into a five-bedroom boarding house will not move forward after the Charles County Board of Appeals denied the property owner’s request for a special exception during its Tuesday, Aug. 11, meeting.
John Pedro sought approval under Docket No. 1488 to operate the boarding house at 11890 Acton Park Place, a roughly 0.33-acre residential property in the Acton Park community.
