FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — “Two murders. Two women. Two miles apart. Two decades unsolved, but detectives refuse to give up,” the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said.
On Aug. 14, 2006, 20 years ago, Marion Marshall was killed. Around three months later, another woman, Marion Newman, was killed in the same fashion — strangulation and blunt force trauma.
FCPD said that Marshall was last seen on Aug. 14, 2006, after shopping at the Bradlick Shopping Center. Investigators believe she ran into her murderer after returning home to the 6600 block of Bostwick Drive in Springfield…
