WALDORF, Md. — A man was airlifted to a trauma center Wednesday afternoon after suffering second-degree burns to his face in Waldorf, according to emergency dispatch records.
Fire and EMS crews were dispatched at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Aug. 19 to the 3700 block of Primrose Court for a reported burn injury.
Initial 911 information indicated the man told a caller that coolant from a vehicle had sprayed into his face. Dispatch notes indicated the coolant did not enter his eyes but made contact with his skin, causing a burning sensation…
