A person is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a two-alarm fire at the Wedgewood Apartments in Annandale, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reports.
Fire crews responded to reports of smoke in an apartment at 7529 McWhorter Place shortly before 7:30 a.m. on April 18. When they arrived, fire was visible from the top floor of a three-story garden apartment.
