Woman pretended to be Pa. Game Commission officer, tried to get out of traffic ticket, police say

A woman is facing charges after she falsely claimed she was a Pennsylvania Game Commission officer, police say.

Slate Belt Regional police pulled over a car in the area of East Moorestown Road and the Route 33 ramp for traffic violations, police said.

The driver, Janine Tancredi, was wearing a law enforcement-style badge around her neck, and said she was a Pennsylvania Game Commission officer responding to an emergency call in Bethlehem, police say…
