JIM THORPE, CARBON CO. (WOLF) — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public hearing Tuesday on a proposed wastewater discharge permit tied to a solar energy project in Kidder Township that has drawn opposition from environmental groups and local residents.
The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. June 23 at Jim Thorpe Area High School. Representatives from DEP and Mora Solar LLC are expected to attend.
