WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Two Washington Township residents have been charged with animal cruelty after authorities allege they abandoned two dogs at a park in a neighboring jurisdiction.
The Washington Township Police Department said a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were charged June 5 following an investigation by the township’s Humane Law Enforcement Officer. Police did not release the names of the individuals.
