Everyone loves a delicious snack, and all the better if it’s actually good for you. That’s the goal for Kim Owens and Svetlana Vnucko-Ossig, co-founders of Allentown-based Zenlightful Snacks, which is celebrating the launch of its new line of collagen protein bars. “We realized that while the market is full of options, the majority of products offer very similar tastes and textures,” Owens says. “We knew we could unlock a new level of decadence without the nutritional compromise, so we decided to fill that void.” Owens, a Lehigh Valley native, and Vnucko-Ossig, from Poland, have created treats that hew to European quality standards, and each bar contains at least 10 grams of protein blended with collagen and no more than 3 grams of added sugar.
