Hellertown area residents will soon have a new laundromat to use whenever they need to wash clothes or other items.
The Hellertown Laundromat will be located in the Shoppes at Hellertown on Main Street in a unit that was previously occupied by a dry cleaning business. The Spring Hill Cleaners closed in 2020 amid a downturn in demand for dry cleaning during the Covid pandemic.
In addition to an “Opening Soon” sign hung across the entrance, recently-issued Hellertown borough zoning permits displayed in a window indicated that renovations to the unit are being completed by Steve and Kyle Behmlander…
