WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. – Emergency crews responded to an accident involving a pedestrian with severe injuries Monday afternoon in Washington Township.
According to 911 dispatchers, the call came in at 4:39 p.m. for a crash on Route 873 between Phillips Road and Glencrest Road.
Pennsylvania State Police say a pedestrian was struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. The victim was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest with serious injuries.
Reconstruction crews were called to the scene, and officials say that work should be wrapping up shortly. The roadway had been closed during the investigation…
