After a series of resident complaints and difficulties receiving mail and local deliveries in the village of Jacksonville, East Allen Township, supervisors and engineers looked at ways to make roads more accessible for emergency vehicles and local deliveries. Township Engineer James Milot presented Hanover Engineering’s findings and recommendations during the April 9 Board of Supervisors meeting.
At any intersection, Milot said, there is “absolutely no place for a vehicle to park that would not impact maneuverability” for emergency vehicles.
