HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN CO. (WOLF) — More than $1.2 billion will be invested in transportation improvements across eastern Pennsylvania this year, with dozens of new projects set to begin and many others continuing, according to PennDOT.
Officials say 157 projects are planned across a six-county region, including Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill counties. That includes 45 projects starting during the 2026 construction season and 112 already underway.
